Our September B3G (Brains, Business, & Beverages!) event features the fabulous Shana Lincoln as guest speaker!
A common piece of advice to job seekers and people trying to climb the corporate ladder is to “dress for the job you want,” but what does that mean in practice? Clothing makes a person in a multitude of ways—at work, at play, and everywhere in between. With the rise of remote work and the decline of business formal attire, the landscape of work-appropriate attire is wider and more varied than ever. Come learn how to influence other people’s opinions of your attitude, ability, and goals by understanding the messages you send with every clothing and accessory choice you make.
Shana Lincoln holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatrical Costume Design and worked as a professional designer before joining corporate America, where she spent the last ten years rising from an entry-level data entry position to a director-level individual contributor role at a Fortune 50 company.

Do you want to work for Uncle Sam? The federal government is the nation’s largest employer with more than 2 million civilian employees across every state and territory – PLUS uniformed military personnel and federal contractors.
Finding these jobs is relatively easy, but applying and getting hired is not. This month’s Brains, Business, Beverages + Games features a panel of speakers who will discuss how to find these jobs, get through the rigorous application process, handle security clearance issues, and then work in the federal system.
As usual our format is introductions, speaker presentations, discussions, and, of course GAMES!
Hope to see you there!
